Bus announcement for Hamlin PK-8 and LCHS students that ride Bus 153 (Susan). Bus 153 will not be running this afternoon. Bus 2131 will transport Bus 153's students' home this afternoon. Bus announcement for students who live on Donahue Branch (Hollybush Branch) Road off of Four Mile Creek Road. Bus 210 (Cotton Jeffers) and Bus 214 (Garry Ellis) will begin running Donahue Branch Road again this afternoon. Thank you for your cooperation.

Bus announcement for West Hamlin Elementary, GVMS and LCHS students that ride the Nine Mile Bus (Bus 2133). Bus 2133 will not be running on Monday and Tuesday, March 28th and 29th, the route will be covered by bus 192, morning and evening. In the mornings, Bus 192 will leave the turnaround on Nine Mile at 6:30 AM. This will be earlier than the normal scheduled pick-up time. Please be at the bus stop ready to board the bus. The West Virginia Advisory Council for the Education of Exceptional Children (WVACEEC) will meet at Logan Vocational Center on Friday April 1, 2022 at 8:30 AM. The Public is Invited.
The West Virginia Advisory Council for the Education of Exceptional Children is a non-partisan advisory panel authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), a Federal law and by State Board of Education Policy 2419. The purpose of the Council is to identify systemic issues and concerns regarding the education of exceptional children in West Virginia.
Exceptional children include students with disabilities and gifted students as defined by the IDEA and Policy 2419. The Council’s responsibilities include holding public meetings in all regions of West Virginia, collecting information from local and state sources and making an annual report to the State Board of Education and others regarding the unmet needs of exceptional children.
The agenda will include reports from the West Virginia Department of Education regarding special education programs, data results and outcomes of specific projects and initiatives. Local and regional administrators of special education will provide updates of their accomplishments and challenges. Other agencies and individuals are invited to provide additional perspective on their collaborative work with schools and the community.
The public is welcome and invited to share news and concerns regarding the education of exceptional children.

Bus 2134 will not be running tomorrow morning or evening. In the morning, Bus 223 will run Garretts Bend after he drops off his students at Midway Elementary. He will leave Midway Elementary at approximately 7:35 and head toward Garretts Bend. These students will be picked up approximately 1 hour later than usual.
In the afternoon, the Midway students will be held at Midway Elementary until Bus 2114 delivers her regular Midway route home and then she will transport the Garrett’s Bend home. These students will be approximately 45 minutes later getting home.
The Duval Primary students will need to be held at the school and transported home with the Duval 3 – 8 and LCHS students. These students will be transported home by bus 225.
