Are you interested in becoming a Parent/Guardian volunteer at your students school? This Saturday, October 20th, LCHS is hosting a volunteer training class at 2:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

The FBI's Pittsburgh Field Office held their third Teen Academy today in Charleston. Students from 19 counties, including Lincoln County, spent the day learning more about the FBI.
This interactive program allows students to see, and try for themselves, several methods agents use in the field. Then students put their knowledge to use to figure out who stole a vehicle.
We appreciate the FBI Pittsburgh Office for putting this event on for students!

Parents/Guardians with students in PK-3rd Grade that ride the school bus:

This week is National School Lunch Week, and we want to celebrate all of the wonderful cooks in LCS. They prepare meals with love everyday so our students are ready to learn, and they always seem know just what you need on a tough day. We could not do it without them, thank you for all you do! Do you have a favorite cook or cooks? We'd love to read about them in the comments!

A regular tube of toothpaste would not cut it for an elephant, so 8th graders at Harts made some elephant sized toothpaste in science class. By combining several ingredients, students created a colorful reaction called elephant toothpaste! It looks like it would get the job done!
