Congratulations - Brenna Allen - Hamlin Pre K-8 Teacher of the Year
Ms. Allen is a passionate educator who not only sets high expectations for her students but also pushes herself to be the best teacher she can be. In 2023, she earned the prestigious National Board Certification, a mark of excellence in the teaching profession. The certification process is known for its rigor, demanding nothing less than the very best from educators, and Ms. Allen rose to the challenge.
With a master’s degree in Literacy and expertise in the Ashlock method of reading instruction, Ms. Allen is a true leader in her field. Her dedication to continually honing her craft ensures her students receive the highest-quality education possible. She is, without a doubt, a distinguished educator.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Allen is an invaluable asset to Hamlin PK-8. Her commitment to making our school the best it can be is evident in her leadership roles. She is an active member of the Lighthouse Team, has taught afterschool programs, and contributes to our Summer School initiative. Additionally, she has been a key contributor to the Lincoln County ELA and math teams, always working to elevate education in her community.
